AINA is a musical post-ethno collective creating original music in the Evenki and Russian languages, inspired by the culture and mythology of the Far North. Their sound is based on throat singing, the jaw harp, northern legends, and lyrics woven into modern genres such as pop, blues, rock, and electronic music.
AINA’s songs speak about timeless themes — love, kindness, honesty, and care — but express them through northern mythology, imagery, and nature. This is not a reconstruction, but a living cultural gesture. Northern motifs are woven into a contemporary musical fabric without losing their power. The uniqueness of the collective lies in the fact that they speak to audiences in the Evenki language, bringing together the old and the new in a way no one else does.
AINA has released two full-length albums — Northstar (2023) and EKONDA (2024). Both made the Top 10 releases according to the Russian World Music Chart. The band performs at major Russian festivals such as Voice of Nomads, World of Siberia, Ustuu-Khuree, Shores of Light, New Folk, and Veresk, as well as at international-level events including VDNH, the Winter in Moscow project, and the Land of People festival.
